A very creative project by Diego Stocco, the project located in his garden and according to him, all the sounds purely come from playing the tree, by bowing the twigs, shaking the leaves, playing rhythms on the cortex and so on. He recorded the tracks live on a Pro Tools LE system with 2 Røde NT6 and a NTG-2 as microphones, combined with a customized stethoscope. No synthesizer or sampler to create or modify the sounds too. Cool eh? More pictures and video after the jump. Continue reading “Music From A Tree By Diego Stocco”
